I'm a bit surprised to have you reading this, but the clever part must have worked (wink).

I can tell you that I received my first Canon camera in 1981, as a gift from my parents, for a photography class that I took in high school. It was a Canon AE-1 Program. I still use Canon equipment today. I only tell you that to let you know that I've been involved with photography for a long time. More importantly it's to tell you that I've been in love with photography for a long time. I still have that camera, but it's more of a paper weight now.

I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering, and have owned an Engineering & Surveying business since 1999. I am licensed as both a Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor. I tell you that only to let you know that I am hardworking and dependable.

I am married to my beautiful wife Dewana, and we were high school sweethearts. We've been married since 1992. We have two children - Hogan, age 12 and Hannah, age 9. Dewana supports me in all that I do, and she helps me with the photography business also. I could not do all that I do without her unfailing support and encouragement. Hogan and Hannah are just as enthusiastic as I am about learning, and they inspire me to be a better father. I love my family. I tell you that to let you know that I realize how important families are and that the memories captured forever will leave a legacy worth remembering.

I am a Christian and I am very involved with work at my church. I attend services three times a week most of the time, and I love to volunteer with the ministries there. I am so thankful for my church, my church family, and most importantly, my savior Jesus Christ. I tell you that so that you may know me better.
